GOYA FOODS ANNOUNCES DELICIOUS AND AFFORDABLE MEALS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
-Offers family meal solutions for less than $10
Secaucus, NJ, May 20th, 2009 – As consumers search for ways to save, Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States, has developed 12 quick and easy recipes that will feed a family of four for under $10. The hearty meals incorporate traditional and authentic Latin American flavors. Some, such as Chicken Fricassee with Rice and Garbanzada (Chick Pea and Chorizo Soup) use Goya’s better-for-you alternatives, which include low-sodium tomato sauce and canned beans, as well as Adobo Light, among others.
In addition to old-time Latin American everyday favorites such as Chicken with Rice, Goya has added Spaghetti with Ground Beef Goya Style, Steak and Onions, and Healthy and Tasty Four Bean Salad. Each of the 12 meals is specifically designed to take approximately one-half hour to prepare, which not only saves dollars, but also minutes, allowing more time for families to share at the dinner table.
“We at Goya recognize that our consumers are always looking to get more value without compromising taste. With our family of products exceeding well over 1,600, we are capable of providing flavorful recommendations for eating well while on a budget,” said Joseph Pérez, Senior Vice President, Goya Foods.
