Colombian Style Cheese Arepas Topped with Pulled Pork and Dressed with Chipotle Sauce
Ingredients
Ingredients for the Arepa
2 boxes of GOYA® Corn Patties with Cheese (Frozen)
Ingredients for Pulled Pork
3 lbs. of boneless pork shoulder
2 tbsp. of GOYA® Adobo with Pepper or to taste
1 cup of ketchup
½ can of GOYA® Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
½ cup of brown sugar
½ tbsp. of GOYA® Minced Garlic
1 tbsp. of GOYA White Vinegar
1 tbsp. of Worcestershire sauce
5 cups of water
1 packet of Sazón GOYA® with Coriander & Annatto
Garnishes
1 bottle of GOYA® Salsita Chipotle
1 container of GOYA® Guacamole (Mild)
1 container of sour cream
Directions
| 1. | In a small food processor combine the chipotle, sugar, ketchup, garlic and puree till smooth. To make the pork please combine the ingredients in a pot and cook for two hours until the meat falls apart and the sauce is nice and thick, then pull the meat with two forks and combine with the sauce. |
| 2. | To cook the arepas follow the directions on the back of the box. |
| 3. | For presentation put the arepa in the middle of the plate and top with the pork and drizzle with the three garnishes. |
