Costa Rican Hearts of Palm Salad (Ensalada de Palmito)



1 head iceberg lettuce in bite size pieces or equivalent amount of your favorite type of lettuce(s)

½ medium red onion, sliced thin

½ pint grape tomatoes

1 red bell pepper or equal amount of yellow of green bell peppers, diced a ½ inch

1 can (14.1 oz.) GOYA® Whole Hearts of Palm, cut into 1 inch pieces.

½ tsp GOYA® Adobo with Pepper or to taste

Pink Sauce:

1 cup GOYA® Mayonnaise

3 tbsp. ketchup


1. Line a serving platter with lettuce leaves. Arrange onions, tomatoes, peppers and hearts of palm on top of lettuce. Season with Adobo.
2. In bowl, mix mayonnaise and ketchup.
3. Serve salad with pink sauce on side.
