Honduran Baliadas


¼ cup GOYA® Vegetable Oil

½ cup small onions cut in 4 pieces

1 can (15 oz.) GOYA® Refried Red Beans (Volteados Style)

¼ tsp. sugar

8 oz. sour cream

4 oz. heavy cream

1/8 tsp. salt, to taste

12 GOYA® Flour Tortillas, 6 inches

½ cup grated parmesan cheese


1. In skillet, heat oil on medium. Add onion and cook until lightly browned. Discard onion.
2. Add refried beans and cook, stirring often, until beans absorb oil and are well heated, about 10 minutes.
3. In bowl, mix together sour cream, heavy cream and salt.
4. To assemble, spread refried beans on warm tortillas, drizzle sour cream mixture over top and sprinkle on cheese.
