Pan Seared Skirt Steak with an Adobo Chipotle Sauce and Primavera Rice


Skirt Steak:

1 lb. Skirt Steak

GOYA® Adobo with Pepper to taste

1 envelope of GOYA® Sazon without Annatto


½ tbsp. of GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 tbsp. of GOYA® Sofrito

½ cup of GOYA® Tomato Sauce

4 tbsp of Adobo sauce from the GOYA® Chipotle in sauce

½ cup of Chicken Stock*

1 tsp. of Sugar

1 tbsp. Fresh Cilantro (chopped)


1 Box of GOYA® Primavera Rice


1 can GOYA® Refried Black Beans


1. Cut the beef in four portions and season it with Adobo and Sazon.
2. In a hot pan, sear the seasoned beef on both sides and finished cooking in a 400 degrees oven till desired consistency.
3. In a small sauté pan heat the oil, add the Sofrito, Tomato sauce, Adobo sauce, chicken stock, sugar, boil and cook for 5 minutes.
4. In a plate put some Goya Refried Black Beans in the center, Beef on top, pour sauce over the meat and add chopped Cilantro for garnish.
5. To make the Rice follow the directions behind the box.
* To make the stock use the directions on the Goya Chicken Bouillon.
