Pinto & Chuck in Red Wine

A Southwestern favorite.

Ingredients

2 cans GOYA® Pinto Beans, drained

1 tbsp. GOYA® Vegetable Oil

1 lb. ground chuck

16-oz. can whole tomatoes

1 cup red wine

1/2 cup onion, chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

Garnish:

1/2 pound Monterey Jack cheese, cubed

Directions

1. Brown meat in 2-quart heavy sauce pan until brown.
2. Add beans and remaining ingredients.
3. Bring to boil, cover, and simmer 30 minutes.
4. Fold in cheese and allow to melt for a few minutes. Serve hot.
