Pinto & Chuck in Red Wine
A Southwestern favorite.
Ingredients
2 cans Goya Pinto Beans, drained
1 tbsp. Goya Vegetable Oil
1 lb. ground chuck
16-oz. can whole tomatoes
1 cup red wine
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
Garnish:
1/2 pound Monterey Jack cheese, cubed
Directions
| 1. | Brown meat in 2-quart heavy sauce pan until brown. |
| 2. | Add beans and remaining ingredients. |
| 3. | Bring to boil, cover, and simmer 30 minutes. |
| 4. | Fold in cheese and allow to melt for a few minutes. Serve hot. |
