Fresh Mexican Salsa

Take a trip to Mexico with this crunchy, fresh Nopalitos Salsa. GOYA® Nopalitos – Tender Cactus is an ingredient used widely in Mexican cuisine. Nopalitos have a crunchy texture with a mild, slightly tart taste. Mix with fresh tomatoes, pimientos, salsa verde and spicy jalapeño peppers for a unique, refreshing salsa.

GOYA® Nopalitos-Tender Cactus, drained, rinsed and finely chopped

medium ripe tomato, cored, seeded and finely chopped (about ½ cup)

1 jar (4 oz.)

GOYA® Fancy Pimientos, finely chopped (about ¼ cup)

GOYA® Jalapeño Peppers, seeded and finely chopped (about 1 tbsp.)

Step 1

In medium bowl, mix together nopalitos, tomato, pimientos, salsa verde, jalapeño pepper, olive oil and salsita. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. (Note, salsa can be stored, covered and chilled, for up to 5 days.)
