Fresh Shrimp Sauté
Camarones al FrescoSay hello to the flavors of summer with this light and refreshing shrimp sauté. A medley of peppers and onions cook alongside fresh shrimp. Some GOYA® Sazonador Total contributes just the right amount of flavor while a dash of lemon juice brightens up the dish. ½ cup GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
½ medium yellow onion, finely chopped
¼ green bell pepper, finely chopped
¼ red bell pepper, finely chopped
¼ yellow bell pepper, finely chopped
1½ tbsp. GOYA® Minced Garlic
2 tbsp. GOYA® Sazonador Total
¼ tsp. hot pepper flakes
¼ cup GOYA® Lemon Juice
1/8 tsp. sugar
1 lb. peeled and deveined large shrimp (tails left on), about 16-20 pieces
2 tbsp. finely chopped fresh cilantro
|1.||Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until very hot, but not smoking. Add onions, green, red and yellow bell pepper and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables soften, about 7 minutes. Stir in Sazonador Total and hot pepper flakes. Pour in lemon juice and sugar; bring to boil.|
|2.||Add shrimp to skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp and bright pink and opaque, about 3 minutes. Garnish with cilantro.|
|3.||Serve with rice, over pasta or next to freshly cooked vegetables.|
