Directions
| 1. | In a bowl, combine Masarica, Adobo and 2 cups of water. Mix until water is absorbed. Add remaining water a little at a time until moist dough is formed. You may not need all the water. |
| 2. | Using 3 tablespoons of dough form into a 5 inch circle, 1/8 inch thick. Spread 1 or 2 tablespoons refried beans or cheese evenly over pupusa. Season with Adobo. Cover with another slightly smaller pupusa, and crimp the bottom edge over the top and seal. As a variation, you can combine both beans and cheese in same pupusa. Repeat using all the dough. You should have about 8 pupusas. |
| 3. | On a medium hot, lightly oiled griddle or skillet fry pupusas until browned on both sides about 6-8 minutes. |
| 4. | Serve hot with cabbage salad accompaniment. |
