Honduran Sweet Corn
Ingredients
1 bag (16 oz.) GOYA® Frozen Whole Kernel Corn
3½ cups milk, in all
½ cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 3-inch sticks GOYA® Canela Entera (Whole Cinnamon)
2 tbsp. corn starch
Directions
| 1. | In blender, combine corn and 2 cups milk. Puree until very smooth. |
| 2. | Strain mixture through fine sieve. Discard residue. |
| 3. | In saucepan, combine corn mixture, 1 cup milk, sugar, salt and cinnamon. Cook on medium, stirring often, until it comes to a boil. Dissolve corn starch in ½ cup milk and stir into mixture. Cook until it thickens, stirring constantly. |
| 4. | Serve hot. |
