Honduran Baliadas with Cheddar Cheese
Ingredients
¼ cup GOYA® Vegetable Oil
½ cup small onions cut in 4 pieces
1 can (15 oz.) GOYA® Refried Red Beans (Volteados Style)
¼ tsp. sugar
8 oz. sour cream
4 oz. heavy cream
1/8 tsp. salt, to taste
12 GOYA® Flour Tortillas, 6 inches
½ cup KRAFT® Shredded White Cheddar Cheese
Directions
| 1. | In skillet, heat oil on medium. Add onion and cook until lightly browned. Discard onion. |
| 2. | Add refried beans and cook, stirring often, until beans absorb oil and are well heated, about 10 minutes. |
| 3. | In bowl, mix together sour cream, heavy cream and salt. |
| 4. | To assemble, spread refried beans on warm tortillas, drizzle sour cream mixture over top and sprinkle on cheese. |
