Salsa Verde

Dip into this cool and refreshing Salsa Verde, and get the party started! Tangy GOYA® Whole Tomatillos are pureed with crisp white onions, spicy jalapeños, savory garlic and fresh cilantro for vibrant green salsa. Perfect as a dip for chip, this Salsa Verde also tastes great as a topping for tacos, tostadas and enchiladas and as a sauce for grilled chicken, steak, pork and fish – the possibilities are endless!

1 can (26 oz.) GOYA® Whole Tomatillos, drained

¼ white onion, coarsely chopped

3 whole pickled jalapeños from 1 can (11 oz.) GOYA® Whole Pickled Jalapeños, stemmed

2 cloves garlic, peeled

½ cup lightly packed fresh cilantro

1/8 tsp. salt


1. In bowl of food processor, add tomatillos, onion, jalapeños, garlic, cilantro and salt. Pulse until ingredients are well combined and finely chopped, about 30 1-second pulses.
2. Transfer salsa verde to serving bowl. Serve with chips.
