Agua Fresca

Agua Fresca (Spanish for fresh water) is a light, non-alcoholic drink served throughout Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean. This refreshing mixture of puréed fresh fruit, water and a touch of sugar is the perfect antidote to a hot day. Agua Fresca is traditionally prepared in a large, glass jug and enjoyed over ice, making it the perfect drink to serve at parties and family gatherings, or to enjoy throughout the week. With our full line of 100% natural frozen GOYA® Fruit Pulp, you can find your favorite flavor and enjoy all year long!

Tip by La Cocina Goya

Sweeten your Agua Fresca

Fruit is naturally sweet and tangy - and 100% natural GOYA® Fruit Pulp is made without any added sugar. When preparing our Cold Fruit Drink recipe, let the flavor of the fruit be your guide to the amount of sweetener you add. We think ¼ cup of agave or white sugar is the perfect amount for our tamarind agua fresca recipe. But to find your perfect flavor, start with a little, and taste as you go!
