Disaster Relief

In response to the governmental unrest and the outcries of starving children and families in Venezuela, Goya donated 220,000 pounds of food in September of 2019 and in the Fall of 2020. With the help of non-profits, churches, and charitable organizations located in Venezuela, the food was safely and successfully distributed directly to the people.

During Hurricane Maria Goya donated over 1 million pounds of food to the people of Puerto Rico. Over the years, Goya has donated millions of pounds of food to victims of various disasters worldwide including Superstorm Sandy, Hurricane Isaac, Harvey, and Irene, as well as the earthquake in Haiti and most recently to victims of Hurricane Laura.
