This is the perfect appetizer to enjoy with family and friends. Prepare them easily and quickly cutting our GOYA® Queso de Freír in cubes and bread them with a mix of eggs, flour, and breadcrumbs. When they’re well breaded, fry them in the Air Fryer until golden and crispy. Add a bit of chimichurri, prepared in advance, with jalapeño, cilantro, garlic, and oregano. Everyone will love them!
Air Fryer Crispy Cheese Bites:

GOYA® Queso de Freir

GOYA® Wheat Flour

breadcrumbs
Cilantro-Jalapeño Chimichurri Sauce:
2
peppers from one can GOYA® Jalapeño Peppers, finely chopped
1 cup
finely chopped fresh cilantro
¼ cup
GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray
4 tsp.
GOYA® Lime Juice
2 tsp.
GOYA® Minced Garlic
1 tsp.
GOYA® Adobo All-Purpose Seasoning with Pepper
½ tsp.
GOYA® Ground Cumin
½ tsp.
GOYA® Oregano Leaf
¼ tsp.
GOYA® Crushed Red Pepper
Step 1
Air Fryer Crispy Cheese Bites: Cut cheese into 1-inch cubes.
Step 2
Transfer flour to shallow bowl. Whisk egg in second shallow bowl. Transfer breadcrumbs to third shallow bowl. Dredge cheese cubes in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere
Step 3
Preheat air fryer to 400°F according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Step 4
Lightly spray air-fry basket with olive oil spray. In batches, arrange breaded cheese cubes in air-fryer basket in single layer without overlapping. Lightly spray cheese cubes with olive oil spray.
Step 5
Air-fry, turning halfway through the cook time, for 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Step 6
Cilantro-Jalapeño Chimichurri Sauce: In medium bowl, stir together jalapeños, cilantro, oil, lime juice, garlic, adobo seasoning, cumin, oregano and crushed red peppers.
Step 7
7. Arrange crispy cheese bites on serving platter. Serve with chimichurri sauce.
Notes:
· For a party appetizer, serve with cocktail toothpicks or thread air-fried cheese onto mini skewers.
· Prepare chimichurri sauce up to 3 days in advance and store in airtight container in refrigerator.
