Ingredients

1 tbsp.

<p>finely chopped fresh cilantro</p>

2 cups

<p>shredded lettuce</p>

½ cup

<p>crumbled Cotija cheese</p>

½ cup

<p>sour cream</p>

Step 1

<p>Stir together refried beans and cilantro; spread over half of each tortilla. Fold over to enclose filling.</p>

Step 2

<p>Pour enough oil into large saucepan to come 1 inch up side; heat over medium heat. In two batches, fry tacos for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until golden brown all over.</p>

Step 3

<p>Serve <em>tacos dorados</em> with shredded lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and salsas (if using) on the side.</p>
